Swiss duo secures win at Queen Stage | Swiss Epic 2019: Stage 3

Today’s stage three, this year’s queen stage, transitions from St. Moritz to Lenzerheide and reaches the highest point of this stage early on, followed by parts of the 2018 World Championship XC track. 80 kilometres and 2200 meters of climbing awaits the 300 teams of two.

The young local swiss guys Casey South and Noah Blöchlinger won stage three here in the canton of Graubünden and are now in the second place in the overall GC. The leading men team Michele Casagrande and Fabian Rabensteiner from Italy won the second place today and are still in the yellow leader jersey. In the women category the German duo Adelheid Morath and Bettina Janas won their second stage in a row. Corina Gantenbein (SUI) and Kathrin Stirnemann (SUI) secured their overall lead.
